Privacy Policy

This policy explains how BIDR Technologies, Inc. (“Bidr,” “we,” “us”) handles information when you visit bidr.net, chat with us, or ask us for a quote. Our other sites, such as bidrtech.com, have their own policies.
1. Information you give us
When you chat with us, send a quote request, email or call us, you may give us your name, email address, phone number, organization or agency, and details of what you need. Please don’t send payment card numbers, Social Security numbers, passwords, or classified or controlled information through the chat or by email.
2. Information collected automatically
- Hosting and security. bidr.net is delivered by Cloudflare. To deliver and protect the site, Cloudflare processes technical details of each request, such as your IP address, browser and device type, the page requested, the time, and the site that referred you.
- Site statistics. We use Cloudflare Web Analytics, which does not use cookies and does not follow you across other websites. It gives us totals such as pages viewed, countries, device types and referring sites.
- The chat. Our chat assistant is provided by HighLevel (LeadConnector). When it loads, it keeps a session identifier, your conversation, and a record of the pages you view on this site in your browser’s storage, so a conversation can carry on from page to page and so we can see how you found us if you start one.
We do not use advertising cookies or tracking pixels, and we do not sell your personal information or share it for cross-context behavioral advertising. See our Cookies and storage notice for exactly what is stored in your browser.
3. How we use information
- To answer your questions and follow up on your request
- To prepare quotes, proposals and estimates, and to schedule consultations
- To run, secure and improve bidr.net, using totals rather than individual profiles
- To keep business records and meet legal obligations
4. Who we share it with
We share information only with service providers that help us run the site and our business, and only for that purpose:
- Cloudflare, Inc.: hosting, security and site statistics
- HighLevel, Inc. (LeadConnector): our chat assistant and the system where chats and quote requests are kept and answered
If you book a consultation, you do so on Calendly, and Calendly’s privacy policy applies to what you enter there. Links to Sourcewell and other sites are governed by those sites’ own policies. We may also disclose information if the law requires it, or to protect our rights, our users or the public.
5. The chat assistant
Answers in the chat may be written by an automated assistant. Our team can see the conversation and follow up with you. Nothing said in the chat is a binding quote or offer.
6. How long we keep it
We keep your information for as long as we need it to respond to you, work with you, and keep our business records, and then delete or de-identify it. Information stored in your browser stays there until you clear it.
7. Your choices and rights
You can ask us to tell you what information we hold about you, to correct it, or to delete it, and you can opt out of marketing emails at any time. Depending on where you live, state privacy laws may give you further rights. We will not treat you differently for using them. Email info@bidr.net and we will confirm your request, which may include checking your identity.
8. Security
bidr.net is served only over encrypted connections (HTTPS), and we limit who can see the information you send us. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.
9. Children
bidr.net is meant for businesses and public agencies. It is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their information.
10. Where information is handled
We are based in the United States, and our service providers may handle information in the United States and other countries.
11. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy. When we do, we will change the date at the top of this page.
